B and F squads are gathered in Georgia for our Project Searchlight. (PSL)

It’s a time of reunion about a month after they returned from the field, which in their case was World Race America.

We are having teachings, worship, life coaching, meals, hiking, outreach, etc.

Today I got to teach them about evangelizing in your family, workplace, city and church. I love that I didn’t have to convince any of them that ministering in America is important as they did that either all year (F squad) or after leaving the international field due to Covid, spent majority of the year doing missions in America. (B squad)

I split us up in groups loaded with Bibles in hand to give away and out we went.

Erica Jenkins and I got to share with a guy in a smoke shop that talked about why weed was good. He asked me what I thought and I said “Well, I used to be paranoid on weed (before I got saved, I smoked it about a handful of times) and I just like being in my right mind.”

We shared with a Vietnam Vet in Ingles who not only let us pray for him but prayed for us. I told him about my medical mission trip to Vietnam with “Vets with a Mission.” He told me my husband is a lucky man because I was a pretty lil thang. haha! (I wear a a ring on my left hand to symbolize my relationship with Jesus.)

We shared with the lady behind the counter at the salad section. We prayed for her brother-in-law who doesn’t know Jesus and after we prayed she said “I’m gonna go cry over there now.”

And lastly, Erica had brought some food to give away. THEY ARE STILL FEEDING THE HUNGRY, which is the vision we led both squads with. It is meant to be feeding the hungry ones spiritually who are eager to know about Jesus. I believe that God wants strong Christians who will be able to overcome and withstand what is coming to our nation. (This vision He gave me October 2019.)

So we find some boys in a covered pavilion as we are driving, seeking whom to share with. We meet these precious nuggets.

We shared the gospel with them and I shared my testimony. They were hungry to hear what we had to say.

Two of them had never received Christ and ending up praying to receive Jesus. Their mom just so happens to be wanting to take them to church soon! And one of them said he was an atheist and didn’t want to follow Jesus but we got to pray for him. One of them was saved in 2016 but didn’t have a Bible so we were able to give him a nice leather bound Bible. (Thank you Saiid!)

We gave them the real food (the Bible) and then fed them physically too. They were so excited about the bag full of smaller chip packets.

In the evening, we all gathered together and shared our stories from evangelism. SUCH an encouraging time!
