The new theme for 2021 is……

TT’s 2021 Vision:

“i Follow the Lamb Wherever He Goes.”

This is taken from Revelation 14:4.

These are the ones who have not been defiled [by relations] with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased and redeemed from among men [of Israel] as the first fruits [sanctified and set apart for special service] for God and the Lamb.

I started this morning with reading from the Amplified Bible, which I plan to use the whole year. 12/31/20 I heard “You will amplify My Word.”

2021 will be a year to Amplify His Word.

I love that the picture with my theme for the year in it, has someone looking up. Carrying vision is going to be important. When you are following the Lamb, you must look to HIM. It’s there you are kept in perfect peace. (Isaiah 26:3)

I remember a vision I had in 2019 of me on a sport’s field, in the arena. I had noise cancelling headphones on and I was focused not on the cheers or the commentators but who was in front of me. Who God had me discipling.

I get plenty of commentary on my life from well meaning and maybe even demonically influenced, disgruntled humans. I get praise and I get persecution. I can’t base my “success” on the crowd. I must just keep my focus on the Lamb in front of me and let the comments fizzle on the sidelines. That was what 2020 was about. My success is obedience to the Lamb. Period.

That prepared be well for 2021.

To follow Jesus wherever He is going means persecution, suffering, and pain.

It also looks like healing, salvation, and JOY!

I love the whole first part of Revelation 14.

14 Then I looked, and this is what I saw: the Lamb stood [firmly established] on Mount Zion, and with Him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had His name and His Father’s name inscribed on their foreheads [signifying God’s own possession]. And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of great waters and like the rumbling of mighty thunder; and the voice that I heard [seemed like music and] was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne [of God] and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one could learn the song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who had been purchased (ransomed, redeemed) from the earth. These are the ones who have not been defiled [by relations] with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased and redeemed from among men [of Israel] as the first fruits [sanctified and set apart for special service] for God and the Lamb. No lie was found in their mouth, for they are blameless (spotless, untainted, beyond reproach).

I love that no one could learn the song except them. There is something sacred about being purchased, redeemed and set apart that allows you to learn things and see life a way that others don’t.

When you are following the Lamb wherever He is going, your vision changes. Your hearing changes. You are singing something other than the narrative of the world…a song the world can’t even learn.

So stand firm saints. There are plenty of commentators on your narrow road. They will praise you one minute and slay you the next. They did the same to Jesus. We are a fickle people. Just follow the Lamb.

I heard this morning “Put on the armor. You’re gonna need it.”

Ephesians 6

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides]. 11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. 14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, 15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the 1 firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness 2 produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace. 16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of 3 saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one]. 17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit 4 wields, which is the Word of God. 18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

I love this reminder. I wanna be one that stands firm. And as I wear that armor, I will follow the Lamb. If we are in the arena, we need armor. You don’t need armor if you are on the sidelines popping popcorn and commentating on everyone else’s life. All you will need in that case is maybe a seat cushion so your tush doesn’t fall asleep. But if you are IN THE BATTLE, you must be prepared so you don’t get pummeled.

Following the Lamb wherever He is going looks like a cross.

It looks like dying so you can live.

It looks like you might get all kinds of “prophetic opinions” on how you should or shouldn’t follow the Lamb, but you must only have your ear tuned to ONE VOICE.

And lastly, I heard this morning “I am the only One who can feed you living Bread. Eat it.”

So, He will give me the sustenance to follow Him.

Please pray for me in 2021 to stay close to Jesus. I am on fire for God and I love Him dearly. He is my world. He is my life. And all I want to do is walk in the light, on the narrow road, close to my Shepherd.
