All three vans have gathered for their Month 8 debrief on World Race America in Bellingham, Washington!

We have had the best time having debriefs, teachings, worship, camping, eating meals together, having one on ones and praying over one another.

One of our coaches, Kathy Hodge, taught on how to gird yourself with the armor of God. Her husband, Mark and her drove their RV, for the debrief, and carried all kinds of armor including this sword.

The title of her teaching was “You call that a knife?” We all were drawn in with her props, as she showed us how to wear our armor.

Yes, she carried that from her home in Oklahoma. Yep.

We had a session where each team from all three squads came up to share their testimonies from World Race America. Everything from casting out demons, seeing healings, salvation, baptisms, following God’s voice, deaf ministry, ministering in Portland to a psychic, man addicted to drugs getting free, having crazy discernment from a car they passed on the road in which a criminal was turned in, and writing letters with NAMES to people they would meet later that day….strangers to them but not to God,

After we finished our testimony time, I read them John 21:25 “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.”

I have talked to strangers too. On a walk back from dinner with one of our Racers, a guy stopped McKenzie and I and asked “What’s World Race?” (He saw our World Race America vans and maybe her sweatshirt.) We told him. I said “Are you a Christian?” He said he was an atheist. I said “Oh, we have a guy who was an atheist for 22 years! Would you like to meet him and talk with him?” He responded “Sorry we lost him” and also didn’t want to meet him.

We are not in soft territory any more toto. Welcome to the wild west and we SO ready to be here.

My niece, Nikki, returned back today to Delaware. She had such an amazing, enriching time with all of us and Jesus on this trip. I count it a joy and treasure all of the special moments we had together road tripping across the US and having her here with me at debrief.

Had a day off today and got to hike with Beka and Chris, some of my leaders and friends from AIM. It was such a good transition from debrief to the Awakening that starts tomorrow. We literally threw snow balls at each other today on our hike!

I can’t describe the joy I feel and how much I love these people.

Please pray we have a powerful time at the Awakening as we have more alumni Racers coming and will not just be teaching and having worship but also ministering with the homeless!
