I knew at Jesus ’19, Steff was setting an example for me for 2020.

I watched her unashamedly burn in front of us.

The clip of her speaking starts at 1:33.

Here is some of what she said:

Just begin to thank Him for His Presence wherever you are.
Gratitude is the gateway to My glory.
We thank You Jesus for Your nearness to us.
You tore the veil so we could be close to You Jesus.

We thank You for carrying what we could not lift.
We thank You for paying for what we could not pay.

We repent to You this day with being more obsessed with miracles than we are with Your Presence.

We repent to You this day with being more obsessed with the healing of our marriages than the Presence of Jesus. He’s the only One who can heal them anyways.

He’s the only One. He’s the answer. He’s the water and the well. We will always build altars where we believe there to be water. Where do you build your altars?

Where have you thought you would find living water? If you think, you will find it in your marriage, you will be thirsty. If you think you’ll find it in the company of your precious children, you’ll be thirsty.

You’ll be thirsty, because they belong to Him anyway.

The Lord, He gives, and the Lord takes away.

If He never answered another prayer that you prayed, He saved your soul. He saved your soul from the pit of hell. And He longs to be close to you.

He longs to be more than just your King, He longs to be your Bridegroom. He longs to be your dearest friend.

He wants us to have more prayer meetings to meet with Him. We’re obsessed with lesser things.

Delver us from ourselves. Deliver us from our self sustaining ways. Deliver us from our obsession with the words of men.
With our obsession with self-help and DIY.

We have nothing without Jesus.

I’m not screaming because I am angry, I am screaming because I am overcome.

I promise you, this is the well that never runs dry.

We have to stop praying for crowns that are too heavy for our heads.

Teach us to abide in You. That John 15 abiding, just as You do with the Father.

There is no life apart from You. You are the way, the truth and the life.

We lay down our egos and our logos.

Let our children tell their children that You were everything to us.

Deliver us from our obsession with looking younger and looking cooler and trendsetting and trend following.

There is always more to yield. We yield to You again.

If you are in suffering today, He weeps with you.

There is no pain in heaven. There is no sickness in heaven. There is no loss in heaven. You will never get to know Him in His suffering like you could know Him today.

Become obsessed with your Healer.

Long to know Him more than your body healed in this life.

Teach us to abide Jesus. We get so fixated on lesser things.

He doesn’t just want a room in your house. He wants full possession.

Whatever has the most of your attention….that is what you worship.
Whatever has your gaze…when no one is watching…

I used to say no to so many things because of my religion. Now I say no for love.

Now I say “I can’t hear that because it hurts my Jesus.”

Now I say “I can’t watch that because it hurts my Jesus.”

“Please don’t talk like that, it hurts my Jesus.”

It doesn’t mean we get it all right all the time. It tells Him we care about His nearness, having Him with us, more than anything.

Some of you need to yield your marriages, come on, only Jesus can heal it.

Some need to yield the calling that they have been obsessed with, the stage they are trying to reach, the pastor’s affirmation that they’ve long for. Get it back to Him. It’s not worth it.

He is worthy of more. Help us Jesus to live lives worthy of Your gospel.
