Yesterday was my Sabbath.
God has been speaking SO much to me last year and this year in preparation for such a time as this.
Thankfully, I journal, so I took the time yesterday to see what He spoke leading up to the Coronavirus….which I believe is a part of how revival will come to the States.
I only included SOME on what I constructed yesterday in my journal. To explain all He has been speaking to me in this season would be blogs and blogs.
Here’s the timeline:
4/8/19 I heard God say to me: “I trust you with revival.”
4/12/19 “Fast for a year” (March 2019-end of Feb 2020) like Frank Bartleman did leading into revival that broke out in 1906 in California.
10/5/19 (in Nepal) Day 34/40 on the water fast. “This is what it will take for revival.” The persistence and endurance when you want to quit. Quitting isn’t an option.
11/13/19 (in Spain on Camino) had walked through tons of rain and wind for 19 miles, soaked…the day before, but we didn’t quit. This is my journal entry after not quitting when it was hard the next morning:
If you can’t read my writing….I asked the Lord “Father, what do you have?” (a normal question I ask most mornings.) “Something deep was produced in you yesterday. You don’t know your future but you will see the impact.”
Had the thought, from God, as we approached the hostel yesterday….all of our “comforts” could be gone in a flash in America and how will we do. This kinda thing will be what I need resilience for the in the future. The worthlessness of the $320 dollars are in my purse now. (I couldn’t find a place to change the money I brought for the trip into euros.) No worth. How the things we think are security are feeble. But You’re a rock.”
Then later on that day:
We saw a rainbow.
12/31/19 (I didn’t record this in my journal, but think it is significant for the dream that came. I was celebrating New Year’s Eve at a conference and taking communion with about 7,000 people. I knew 2020 would be significant.) Wuhan health officials confirm 27 cases of illness and close a market they think is related to the virus’ spread.
1/3/20 Had a dream where a fire was starting in a building. I wanted to go out and warn the people. One guy was like “Oh, it’s okay, if you wannnnnt to warn the people you can, do whatever you want.” (relative culture we are in)
Then the enemy came to me in the dream and was stroking something and saying in a creepy, deceptive way “everything is okay.”
When I asked the Lord what the dream meant, He said I would find the interpretation in my Bible reading. That day I read about Noah. “Noah did everything as the Lord commanded.”
And I heard the Lord say to me, in response to the dream and what I read in the Bible, “If you walk closely, obeying all I command, you will live. You will hear My voice and escape the fire.”
1/6/20 Heard from God “Mass revival takes mass obedience. Those who have lost themselves in Me get found in the embers (from the fire…in dream).”
1/12/20 Heard “Hebrews 11:7.” Had no idea what it said. “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”
2/9/20 (In Costa Rica) I asked God what He had for the day. “Refreshment.” Acts 3:19-20 came to mind. “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,”
Acts 3:19 is the ONLY time in the New Testament that word is used “refreshment.” In the Greek >>> From anapsucho; properly, a recovery of breath, i.e. (figuratively) revival — revival.
If we change our minds (repent), revival (refreshing) will come.
2/21/20 Get off social media. Let the land have a sabbath rest. (Every seventh year.)
3/6/20 Read Leviticus 26. If you don’t follow the Lord, the repercussions will get worse and worse until the consequences lead to a forced sabbath rest, since they wouldn’t have chosen to listen.
That day I sensed Him saying He was making me a plumb-line in the church.
3/25/20 I was going to bed and He said read “Hebrews 11:7.” I wish I could say that I was like oh yeah, You have been speaking to me about Noah building the ark since January! But I forgot, until I looked back and wrote it all out.
4/5/20 I asked God what He had for today. He said “Noah needed discipline to build the ark. He had to keep the vision front and center.”
Journalling takes discipline. Stopping long enough to listen to God takes discipline. Not going to false comforts to “escape reality” takes discipline.
I already know what God wants me to do in this time. Like Noah, he knew he needed to build the ark. I already know the house God wants me to get. I already know He wants me to stay at AIM for the long haul. I know He wants me to disciple B and F squad. He wants me to speak on covenant.
The summary from all God is speaking:
WE MUST listen to what God is telling us. Revival is here.
We must repent (change our minds) about any way that is offensive to God.
We must have ENDURANCE to withstand during this time. We can’t quit.
Quitting could look like not listening to God and entertaining escape plans from what God is telling you to do.
You must keep building the ark. Keep the vision in front of you. Write it down. Remind yourself.
Our comforts are being stripped.
We must have God as our only source of wholeness.
Money, health, busyness, food, people won’t satisfy.
If you persevere, you will see the rainbow tomorrow.
It’s coming. But you must press in.
The enemy wants to dumb down the current reality.
The enemy says “Oh, this isn’t the judgement of God.
This isn’t Him allowing this so we will repent.”
While the house in on fire.
There is a fire and we must warn the people.
If you obey closely, you will withstand the fire.
You can choose to obey and do it God’s way or you will be forced into it.
i.e. every person on stay at home orders
Now is the time saints to listen closely to your Father. Do only what He says.
This isn’t a sprint, but a marathon.
It took Noah about 100 years to build the ark.
And they were on the ark for a year.
