If you are bored…there may be a possibility your antennas aren’t tuned into God’s story.

There is never a dull moment in the Kingdom.

I was on my Google Meet (virtual video) call with my World Race America leadership team yesterday. Per usual, Ryan Hurd, our logistics is working Uber as he has the call.

We are used to people being in his back seat as he wears his masks and unmutes when he needs to say something.

I know the rider can hear what we say so occasionally I’ll just throw out “Jesus died on the cross for your sins….” knowing the rider is listening.

Yesterday, it was a little more obvious. I noticed the rider get in his car. He inched his way toward the middle of the seat as we were doing check ins. He was staring straight at the screen and must have been listening and ya gurl is like:

His name is James. He said he was from South Korea originally and was almost a pastor. Ryan asked if he still shared the gospel and James said no. He said he had read the Koran and looked into Islam, but knew that wasn’t it.

We encouraged him to come back to Jesus and prayed for him.

After we prayed, James wiped the tears from his eyes. One eye by one eye over his mask.

Ryan asked if he wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord, but James was getting out of the car. They got each other’s contact information so they can meet up again.

James sent this:

And this was us on a video call….Ryan riding Uber around Memphis, TN….me at the AIM office in Georgia, Andrew in Austin, TX and the Hodges in Oklahoma.

Tell me God isn’t creative. There is no way to be bored if we have eyes wide open to see what God is doing.
